Will + Ashlee Huntley
Will and Ashlee Huntley have spent most of their working careers as entrepreneurs focused on custom home construction and interior design. Huntley Design Build was established in 2002 in Raleigh, NC as a lifelong dream of business ownership. After a very successful career in The Triangle and surviving the 2008 recession, the opportunity presented itself to expand the business to Moore County. After two years of building in both The Triangle and The Sandhills Will and Ashlee closed the Raleigh office and consolidated all operations to Pinehurst and moved their family in July of 2011.
Pinehurst is a small, safe, and thriving town and is a wonderful place to raise a family. It was the best decision they could have ever made for their business and for their family.
Will was born and raised in Wadesboro, NC and graduated from NC State University where he earned a BS in Finance and enjoyed a successful 4-year career on the men’s golf team. After a brief career as a mini tour golfer Will began his career with Dallas, TX based Centex Homes in The Wakefield Plantation in Raleigh, NC. Centex provided the foundation and operational management skills of home construction on a very structured and organized timeline schedule. Comfortable with the organized process Will realized he could take this template and tailor it to custom homes.
Ashlee was born and raised in Raleigh, NC and graduated from Meredith College in 2000 with a degree in Interior Design. Her career began in the Triangle working with Kitchen & Bath Galleries where she learned the art of designing custom kitchens, laundry rooms and bathrooms with a specific focus on space planning and how effective room design and arrangement creates very functional working spaces.
Will and Ashlee were married in 2004 and collectively have grown and transformed Huntley Design Build into the established, professional, and reputable company it is today. Now entering it’s 22nd year of operation, Huntley Design Build is the premier, high end residential home building company in Moore County.
Will leads the business development and custom design collaboration with clients to create unique custom homes tailored for each client’s specific requirements. With a very thorough and defined planning process we can create detailed specifications that produce an accurate budget for realistic client expectations.
Ashlee is the lead designer and selections coordinator for the Huntley Design Build team. Her strength is navigating each client’s overall vision through the selections processes and is involved with every project from the beginning to help the clients make every single selection for their new custom-built home.
